Thisness - A moment of perfect expression or execution of excellence

Thisness can be related to any activity an individual has spent countless hours pursuing with training and study. It’s a universal language success and it comes from the persistence of those hours, months and years of hard work. Training at that level breads muscle memory and a sense to look at a situation and know how to react or maneuver almost instantaneously. At the elite level of any field an individual has moments of perfect expression where they simply can’t put a foot wrong, this is what defines Thisness.

Designed in 1993 on the Northern Beaches, it sat unused for over 20 years before being rediscovered in a back attic. We wanted something that was creative and open to interpretation. The art piece can be viewed differently by each individual and a sun, thumb print and a wave in motion are brought to life through this piece.

Thisness with its designs from this era can bring that alternate feel back from the 90’s while still feeling fresh and untouched. We hope you enjoy the products we have put love and care into making on the Northern beaches. They are All locally sourced with the screen printing and embroidery done on the beaches and apparel made in Melbourne.
